Connell Eagles edges Royal Knights 43-40 in Washington high school basketball game

Connell’s Silas Chase led all scorers with 19 points as the Eagles beat Royal Knights 43-40 in a game at Sun Dome.

Chase’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Owen Ellis added 9. Royal fell to 19-6 overall while Connell improved their record to 20-5.

Royal’s next game is scheduled to be played at Sun Dome on Wednesday Feb. 27 at 9:00pm versus Connell. Connell will host Royal on Wednesday Feb. 27 at 9:00pm.
