Mark Morris edges Ridgefield 30-27

RB Noah Mejia accumulated 153 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Mark Morris to a 30-27 win over Ridgefield on Friday night at Longview Memorial.

The Monarchs also recieved helpful efforts from QB Dawson Fritz who completed 9 passes for 99 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Jack Shipley who caught 6 passes for 51 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ridgefield’s QB Dawson Lieurance threw for 194 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Hunter Abrams picked up 63 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and RB Jeremy Martin had 113 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Mark Morris improve to 1-5 on the season while Ridgefield falls to 1-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
