Bishop Blanchet crushes West Seattle 48-6

QB Joey Riley had 203 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead Bishop Blanchet to a 48-6 win over West Seattle on Friday night at BBHS.

The Braves also received helpful efforts from WR Stewart Blaikie who caught 2 passes for 108 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Jack Maider who rushed 5 times for 60 yards and 1 touchdown.

West Seattle’s QB Anthony Coats threw for 86 yards and 1 touchdown, QB Leland Gropper picked up 22 rushing yards and Jett Centioli had 77 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Bishop Blanchet improve to 6-2 on the season while West Seattle falls to 0-8. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Bishop Blanchet will face off against the Nathan Hale Raiders at home on Saturday October 28 at 5:45pm. In their previous matchup on Friday October 13, the Bishop Blanchet Braves cruised to a 35-8 win.

West Seattle travels to Lacey, WA to challenge the North Thurston Rams on Friday August 31 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
