QB Colby Burton picked up 444 passing yards and threw for 6 touchdowns to lead Garfield to a 55-13 win over Nathan Hale on Friday night at NEAthCpx.

The Bulldogs also recieved vital efforts from TE Sav’ell Smalls who caught 5 passes for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns and WR Mekhi Metcalf who caught 4 passes for 115 yards and 1 touchdown.

Nathan Hale’s QB Chris Coon threw for 33 yards, LB Christian Williams picked up 52 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and TE Khepra Mims had 50 receiving yards.

With the loss, Nathan Hale falls to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Garfield travels to Seattle, WA to face off against the Seattle Prep Panthers on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
