Gonzaga Prep cruises by University 42-14

QB Connor Halonen racked up 214 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Gonzaga Prep to a 42-14 win over University on Friday night at GPHS.

The Bullpups also recieved major efforts from RB Eric Floyd who caught 1 pass for 43 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Devin Culp who rushed 10 times for 67 yards.

University’s QB Gavin Wolcott threw for 90 yards, RB Terrell Sanders picked up 130 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Cody Wolcott had 43 receiving yards.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 5-2 on the season while University falls to 4-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep will face off against the Ferris Saxons at home on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

University travels to Spokane Valley, WA to face off against the Central Valley Bears on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
