Gonzaga Prep crushes Ferris 48-7

RB Kasey Anthony racked up 125 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Gonzaga Prep to a 48-7 win over Ferris on Friday night at GPHS.

The Bullpups also recieved key efforts from QB Connor Halonen who completed 3 passes for 72 yards and 1 touchdown and CB Sam Lockett who rushed 1 time for 37 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ferris’ CB Kwame Qadir threw for 61 yards and 1 touchdown, LB Nate Schlosser picked up 78 rushing yards and WR Michor Gentemann had 23 receiving yards.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 6-2 on the season while Ferris falls to 1-6. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep will face off against the Mead Panthers at home on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
