Columbia River beats R.A. Long 25-13

QB Mathew Asplund accumulated 116 passing yards to help Columbia River to a 25-13 win over R.A. Long on Friday night at Columbia River High School.

The Chieftains also recieved helpful efforts from QB Julian Garcia who completed 3 passes for 49 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Tristan Hoyer who caught 3 passes for 59 yards.

R.A. Long’s QB Owen Enriquez threw for 99 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Parker Reeves picked up 89 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Conner Wallace had 41 receiving yards.

The win helps Columbia River improve to 2-2 on the season while R.A. Long falls to 2-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
