Ryan Stevens picked up 93 passing yards to guide Washougal to a 17-15 win over R.A. Long on Friday night at Longview Memorial.

The Panthers also recieved vital efforts from RB Kade Coons who rushed 17 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and Nathan Tofell who rushed 6 times for 32 yards.

R.A. Long’s QB Owen Enriquez threw for 98 yards, RB Parker Reeves picked up 141 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Conner Wallace had 49 receiving yards.

The win helps Washougal improve to 6-2 on the season while R.A. Long falls to 3-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Washougal will face off against the Santiam Christian Eagles at home on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
