Kalama defeats Woodland 26-14

QB Alex Dyer had 86 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help Kalama to a 26-14 win over Woodland on Friday night at Kalama.

The Chinooks also recieved vital efforts from QB Tucker Wetmore who caught 3 passes for 43 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Corbyn Byrnes who caught 1 pass for 19 yards.

Woodland’s QB Wyatt Harsh threw for 88 yards, RB Kenyon Guy picked up 15 rushing yards and WR Tristin Harris had 26 receiving yards.

With the loss, Woodland falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Kalama travels to Napavine, WA to face off against the Napavine Tigers on Saturday September 9 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Woodland will take on the La Center Wildcats at home on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
