Washougal cruises by Castle Rock 41-14

Washougal High School -

Kade Coons racked up 105 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Washougal to a 41-14 win over Castle Rock on Friday night at Washougal High School.

The Panthers also recieved helpful efforts from Ryan Stevens who completed 8 passes for 112 yards and Nathan Tofell who rushed 12 times for 134 yards and 1 touchdown.

Castle Rock’s QB Seth Werly threw for 55 yards, RB Nate Mycklebust picked up 105 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and TE Peyton Watts had 55 receiving yards.

The win helps Washougal improve to 2-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Washougal will challenge the Columbia River Chieftains at home on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Castle Rock will face off against the Aberdeen Bobcats at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
