Tumwater cruises by Columbia River 56-6

Dylan Paine had 96 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Tumwater to a 56-6 win over Columbia River on Friday night at Columbia River.

The Thunderbirds also recieved key efforts from Zane Murphy who rushed 13 times for 87 yards and Jaylen Clay who rushed 6 times for 35 yards and 1 touchdown.

Columbia River’s QB Julian Garcia threw for 44 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Ben Biquera had 23 receiving yards.

With the loss, Columbia River falls to 1-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Tumwater travels to Steilacoom, WA to take on the Steilacoom Sentinels on Thursday September 28 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
