Lake Washington cruises by Kelso 30-6

MICHAEL BUCHANAN accumulated 229 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Lake Washington to a 30-6 win over Kelso on Friday night at Kelso High School.

The Kangaroos also recieved key efforts from RYAN CLIFFORD who rushed 22 times for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns and JEFF YOUNG who caught 6 passes for 144 yards.

Kelso’s Quentin Nelson threw for 84 yards and 1 touchdown, Max McDaniel picked up 125 rushing yards and Riley Noah had 44 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Kelso falls to 2-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Lake Washington will take on the WF West Bearcats at home on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Kelso travels to Centralia, WA to challenge the Centralia Tigers on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
