Kennedy Catholic cruises by Kent-Meridian 43-13

Sam Huard picked up 392 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Kennedy Catholic to a 43-13 win over Kent-Meridian on Thursday night at French Field.

The Lancers also recieved key efforts from Trenton Morrison who caught 3 passes for 145 yards and 1 touchdown and Kendell Oakes who rushed 16 times for 104 yards and 1 touchdown.

Kent-Meridian’s QB Isaac Cordova threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB James Wilson picked up 30 rushing yards and WR Curtis Rollins had 68 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Kennedy Catholic improve to 4-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Kennedy Catholic will challenge the Tahoma Bears at home on Saturday October 14 at 1:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Kent-Meridian travels to Covington, WA to challenge the Kentwood Conquerors on Friday October 13 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
