West Valley cruises by Clarkston 38-7

QB Blake Transue accumulated 283 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help West Valley to a 38-7 win over Clarkston on Friday night at West Valley High School.

The Eagles also received vital efforts from Collin Sather who caught 6 passes for 89 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Tanner Jones who caught 1 pass for 68 yards and 1 touchdown.

Clarkston’s QB Kaeden Frazier threw for 86 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Aeden Galles picked up 64 rushing yards and WR Jake O’Shaughnessy had 36 receiving yards.

The win helps West Valley improve to 9-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Valley will challenge the Ephrata Tigers at home on Friday November 3 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Clarkston will face off against the Moscow Bears at home on Friday August 31 at 7:00pm. In their previous matchup on Friday September 1, the Clarkston Bantams picked up a 24-14 win.
