Columbia River crushes Ridgefield 52-21

QB Mathew Asplund racked up 284 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead Columbia River to a 52-21 win over Ridgefield on Friday night at Ridgefield High School.

The Chieftains also recieved vital efforts from WR Nathan Kunz who caught 2 passes for 87 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Kanen Eaton who caught 3 passes for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Ridgefield’s QB Dawson Lieurance threw for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Hunter Abrams picked up 64 rushing yards and WR Carter Pankow had 44 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Ridgefield falls to 1-8 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
