Newport defeats Freeman 19-0

Danny bradburry picked up 129 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help Newport to a 19-0 win over Freeman on Friday night at Newport HS.

The Grizzlies also recieved major efforts from koa pancho who completed 11 passes for 116 yards and tug smith who caught 6 passes for 77 yards.

Freeman’s QB Desmond Parisotto threw for 41 yards, RB Dylan Pavilschak picked up 32 rushing yards and RB Konner Freudenthal had 32 receiving yards.

With the loss, Freeman falls to 5-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Freeman will take on the Riverside Rams at home on Friday October 27 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
