Woodland defeats R.A. Long 27-20

QB Wyatt Harsh racked up 274 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead Woodland to a 27-20 win over R.A. Long on Friday night at Longview Memorial.

The Beavers also recieved impressive efforts from WR Tyler Flanagan who caught 6 passes for 124 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Alex Bishop who caught 6 passes for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns.

R.A. Long’s threw for 218 yards and 3 touchdowns, picked up 68 rushing yards and had 193 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Woodland improve to 2-3 on the season while R.A. Long falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Woodland will face off against the Columbia River Chieftains at home on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
