West Valley beats Shadle Park 38-20

QB Blake Transue accumulated 191 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help West Valley to a 38-20 win over Shadle Park on Thursday night at AlbiStadium.

The Eagles also recieved helpful efforts from WR Collin Sather who caught 5 passes for 136 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Connor Whitney who caught 8 passes for 47 yards and 1 touchdown.

Shadle Park’s QB Carson Doyle threw for 228 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Xavier Wicks picked up 107 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps West Valley improve to 1-0 on the season while Shadle Park falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Valley travels to Colville, WA to take on the Colville Indians on Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Shadle Park will face off against the Lakeside Eagles at home on Friday September 8 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
