Kennedy Catholic defeats Seattle Prep 30-20

Sam Huard accumulated 359 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide Kennedy Catholic to a 30-20 win over Seattle Prep on Saturday night at Husky Stadium.

The Lancers also recieved vital efforts from Kendell Oakes who rushed 29 times for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns and Junior Alexander who caught 14 passes for 197 yards.

Seattle Prep’s QB Jaxon Woodward threw for 103 yards and Brennan Holmes had 54 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

With the loss, Seattle Prep falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Kennedy Catholic travels to Kirkland, WA to face off against the Juanita Rebels on Thursday September 7 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
