Eastside Catholic cruises by Union 35-0

QB Zach Lewis had 230 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help Eastside Catholic to a 35-0 win over Union on Friday night at ECHS.

The Crusaders also recieved helpful efforts from RB Giovanni Ursino who rushed 20 times for 122 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Marcus Stoebner who caught 5 passes for 73 yards.

Union’s QB Lincoln Victor threw for 222 yards, RB Joseph Siofele picked up 36 rushing yards and WR Darien Chase had 89 receiving yards.

The win helps Eastside Catholic improve to 3-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Eastside Catholic travels to Seattle, WA to take on the Rainier Beach Vikings on Friday September 22 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Union will challenge the Tumwater Thunderbirds at home on Friday September 22 at 4:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
