QB Ryan Chan had 289 passing yards and threw for 6 touchdowns to lead Mead to a 49-28 win over University on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Panthers also recieved major efforts from WR Joe Heitman who caught 8 passes for 180 yards and 5 touchdowns and WR Michael Workman who caught 2 passes for 48 yards and 1 touchdown.

University’s QB Gavin Wolcott threw for 80 yards, RB Terrell Sanders picked up 151 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Daniel Johnson had 44 receiving yards.

Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the Shadle Park Highlanders on Thursday September 21 at 4:45pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
