Rogers edges Ferris 14-10

RB Tre Phillips picked up 130 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Rogers to a 14-10 win over Ferris on Thursday night at Joe Albi Stadium.
The Pirates also recieved key efforts from QB Zachary Phillips who completed 8 passes for 75 yards and WR Isaiah Morgan who caught 4 passes for 60 yards.
Ferris’ QB Tom Kirby threw for 154 yards, RB Eric Mast picked up 52 rushing yards and WR Brock Bozett had 113 receiving yards.
The win helps Rogers improve to 2-1 on the season while Ferris falls to 0-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
