QB AJ Allen had 98 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Lakeside to a 44-39 win over King’s on Friday night.
The Lions also recieved vital efforts from Jake Korman who rushed 1 time for 71 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Max Knight who caught 1 pass for 67 yards and 1 touchdown.
King’s’ Sam Arnott threw for 80 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Lachlan McGregor picked up 144 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and QB Brennon Blevins had 80 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps Lakeside improve to 2-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the second matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday September 8, Lakeside came out in front, 44-39.
Lakeside will take on the Interlake Saints at home on Friday September 15 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
King’s travels to Everett, WA to face off against the Archbishop Murphy Wildcats on Friday September 15 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
