Gonzaga Prep defeats Mt. Spokane 42-28

QB Connor Halonen picked up 80 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help Gonzaga Prep to a 42-28 win over Mt. Spokane on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Bullpups also recieved helpful efforts from LB Hunter McKenna who rushed 0 times for 83 yards and CB Sam Lockett who caught 3 passes for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mt. Spokane’s QB Brady Hill threw for 108 yards and WR Jagger Jacobi had 53 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 3-1 on the season while Mt. Spokane falls to 3-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep travels to Spokane, WA to challenge the Shadle Park Highlanders on Friday September 29 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Mt. Spokane will challenge the Lewis & Clark Tigers at home on Thursday September 28 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
