Gonzaga Prep crushes Shadle Park 56-13

QB Connor Halonen accumulated 128 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Gonzaga Prep to a 56-13 win over Shadle Park on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Bullpups also recieved impressive efforts from WR Devin Culp who rushed 5 times for 103 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Kasey Anthony who rushed 11 times for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Shadle Park’s QB Jeremiah Smith threw for 44 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Xavier Wicks picked up 117 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Kyle Cozza had 38 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Gonzaga Prep improve to 4-1 on the season while Shadle Park falls to 1-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gonzaga Prep travels to Spokane Valley, WA to take on the Central Valley Bears on Friday October 6 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
