Mead edges Mt. Spokane 24-19

QB Ryan Chan accumulated 197 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Mead to a 24-19 win over Mt. Spokane on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Panthers also recieved helpful efforts from LB Kannon Katzer who rushed 15 times for 121 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Michael Workman who caught 4 passes for 115 yards and 1 touchdown.

Mt. Spokane’s QB Brady Hill threw for 229 yards and 1 touchdown and QB Quentin Ayers had 60 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mead improve to 4-2 on the season while Mt. Spokane falls to 4-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead will take on the Central Valley Bears at home on Friday October 13 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Mt. Spokane travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the Rogers Pirates on Thursday October 12 at 4:45pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
