Davenport defeats Colfax 38-28

Alex Plasencia accumulated 167 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to lead Davenport to a 38-28 win over Colfax on Friday night.

The Gorillas also recieved vital efforts from Justin Regan who rushed 17 times for 56 yards and Bailey Hunton who rushed 7 times for 52 yards and 1 touchdown.

Colfax’s WR Ben Ahmann threw for 65 yards and 1 touchdown and receiver pass from RB had 65 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Davenport improve to 5-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Davenport will face off against the Liberty Lancers at home on Friday October 20 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
