East Valley defeats North Central 34-19

RB Isaiah Ervin picked up 242 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead East Valley to a 34-19 win over North Central on Thursday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Knights also recieved impressive efforts from QB Christian Johnston who completed 12 passes for 147 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Rodrick Fisher who caught 7 passes for 80 yards and 1 touchdown.

North Central’s QB JT Healy threw for 52 yards, RB Michael Stacy picked up 140 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Ashton Charlton had 18 receiving yards.

With the loss, North Central falls to 2-8 on the season. Tonight’s game was the third matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday September 1, East Valley came out in front, 34-19.
