Eastside Catholic cruises by Edmonds-Woodway 42-13

S Malik Putney had 85 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Eastside Catholic to a 42-13 win over Edmonds-Woodway on Friday night at Seattle Memorial Stadium.

The Crusaders also recieved key efforts from QB Hayden Harris who completed 3 passes for 50 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Jack Rossmeissl who rushed 0 times for 42 yards.

Edmonds-Woodway’s QB Reilly Chappell threw for 128 yards, RB Carlos Serrano picked up 87 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR Jaro Rouse had 58 receiving yards.

The win helps Eastside Catholic improve to 10-0 on the season while Edmonds-Woodway falls to 9-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
