O'Dea crushes Mercer Island 55-21

RB Mark Tafia accumulated 117 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead O’Dea to a 55-21 win over Mercer Island on Friday night.

The Fighting Irish also recieved vital efforts from QB Emonte Scott who completed 3 passes for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns and TE Victor Felder who caught 3 passes for 66 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Mercer Island’s QB Nikhil Nayar threw for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Danny Scalzo picked up 21 rushing yards and WR Cole Miller had 171 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps O’Dea improve to 9-1 on the season while Mercer Island falls to 6-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
