QB Michael Flaherty racked up 240 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead Lewis & Clark to a 41-39 win over Central Valley on Friday night at Central Valley High School.
The Tigers also received helpful efforts from WR Keani Guthmueller who caught 3 passes for 142 yards and 1 touchdown and CB Xavier Guillory who caught 4 passes for 54 yards and 1 touchdown.
Central Valley’s QB Matt Gabbert threw for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns, RB Zack Jongeward picked up 197 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns and WR Kyle Parkman had 65 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
With the loss, Central Valley falls to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
