West Valley defeats Clarkston 23-14

Matthew Allen picked up 94 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead West Valley to a 23-14 win over Clarkston on Friday night.

The Eagles also received key efforts from Marshall Meleney who rushed 16 times for 68 yards and Kobin Carver who rushed 2 times for 22 yards.

Clarkston’s QB Kaeden Frazier threw for 173 yards and 1 touchdown, RB Theo Baiye picked up 29 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Steve Baiye had 65 receiving yards.

The win helps West Valley improve to 4-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Valley will challenge the Lakeland Hawks at home on Friday October 5 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Clarkston travels to Pullman, WA to challenge the Pullman Greyhounds on Friday October 5 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
