QB Michael Franklin accumulated 142 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Eastside Catholic to a 50-7 win over Garfield on Friday night.

The Crusaders also received crucial efforts from WR Gee Scott Jr. who caught 3 passes for 74 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Sam Adams who rushed 3 times for 39 yards and 1 touchdown.

Garfield’s QB Javon Tade threw for 59 yards, RB Aereck Savelio picked up 88 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Jaden Mills-Beach had 29 receiving yards.

The win helps Eastside Catholic improve to 4-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
