Mead beats Ferris 21-13

QB Ryan Blair had 200 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Mead to a 21-13 win over Ferris on Friday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Panthers also received major efforts from WR MICHAEL WORKMAN who caught 6 passes for 100 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB ISAIAH SALDANA who rushed 12 times for 70 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ferris’ QB Jack Clavel threw for 100 yards, LB Nate Schlosser picked up 109 rushing yards and LB Matt Cortner had 63 receiving yards.

The win helps Mead improve to 2-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mead will take on the North Central Indians at home on Friday September 21 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Ferris travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the Lewis & Clark Tigers on Friday September 21 at 7:30pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
