West Valley defeats Othello 42-24

Matthew Allen racked up 177 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help West Valley to a 42-24 win over Othello on Friday night.

The Eagles also received impressive efforts from Alyjouah Rollins who caught 5 passes for 94 yards and 1 touchdown and Kobin Carver who rushed 7 times for 25 yards and 1 touchdown.

Othello’s QB Logan Hollenback threw for 14 yards, FB Isaiah Perez picked up 112 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and LB Estevan Ochoa had 14 receiving yards.

With the loss, Othello falls to 1-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

West Valley will face off against the Eastmont Wildcats at home on Friday September 21 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
