Dalton Payne racked up 126 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help Washougal to a 25-22 win over Mark Morris on Thursday night.

The Panthers also received helpful efforts from Brevan Bea who rushed 12 times for 59 yards and Peter Boylan who rushed 8 times for 46 yards.

Mark Morris’ DB Cole Busch threw for 77 yards and 1 touchdown, QB Dawson Fritz picked up 66 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Jack Shipley had 95 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

The win helps Washougal improve to 4-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
