Columbia beats Waitsburg 25-8

Devin Martin accumulated 87 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Columbia to a 25-8 win over Waitsburg on Friday night.

The Coyotes also received vital efforts from Dounelson Mullen who rushed 2 times for 56 yards and Wyatt Shaffer who caught 5 passes for 57 yards and 1 touchdown.

Waitsburg’s Lash Larue threw for 86 yards and 1 touchdown, Damien Johnson picked up 20 rushing yards and Brayden Miller had 94 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Columbia improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Columbia travels to Mabton, WA to challenge the Mabton Vikings on Friday September 7 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
