Lynden Lions cruises by Fife Trojans 31-0 in Washington high school football game

Lynden High School J. Marsh picked up 125 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to help Lynden Lions to a 31-0 win over Fife Trojans on Saturday night at Sparks Stadium in a high school football game.

The Lions also received key efforts from B. Heppner who completed 2 passes for 77 yards and 1 touchdown and T. Melendez who rushed 9 times for 47 yards.

Fife’s Quarterback Gannon Ginnis threw for 7 yards and Fullback Malakai Samuelu picked up 77 rushing yards.

With the loss, Fife falls to 11-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
