Eastside Catholic Crusaders beat O'Dea Fighting Irish 31-13 in Washington high school football game

Eastside Catholic High School Running back Giovanni Ursino accumulated 99 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Eastside Catholic Crusaders to a 31-13 win over <a href=’/football/teams/230280-odea-fighting-irish’ alt=’O’Dea Fighting Irish’> O’Dea Fighting Irish</a> on Friday night at Tacoma Dome in a high school football game.

The Crusaders also received vital efforts from Quarterback Michael Franklin who completed 9 passes for 69 yards and Wide receiver Gee Scott Jr. who caught 7 passes for 56 yards.

O’Dea’s Quarterback Emonte Scott threw for 71 yards and 1 touchdown, Running back Mark Tafia picked up 40 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Noah Williams had 62 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Eastside Catholic improve to 12-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the third matchup between the two teams. In the previous game Friday October 5, Eastside Catholic came out in front, 31-13.
