Pullman Greyhounds edge North Central Indians 7-6 in Washington high school football game

Pullman High School quarterback Alex Wills accumulated 91 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Pullman Greyhounds to a 7-6 win over the North Central Indians on Saturday night in a high school football game.

The Greyhounds also received helpful efforts from wide receiver Mason Emerson who rushed 15 times for 61 yards and wide receiver Ryan Bickelhaupt who caught 2 passes for 44 yards.

North Central’s quarterback Carter Strom threw for 76 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Maxx Richmond picked up 51 rushing yards and wide receiver Jordan Dever had 43 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Pullman improve to 1-1 on the season while North Central falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Pullman will face off against the West Valley Eagles at home on Friday March 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

North Central travels to Spokane, WA to face off against the East Valley Knights on Friday March 12. In their previous matchup on Saturday February 27, the North Central Indians cruised to a 24-0 win.
