Union Titans defeat Camas Papermakers 17-9 in Washington high school football game

Union High School quarterback Alex Gehrmann racked up 136 passing yards to guide the Union Titans to a 17-9 win over the Camas Papermakers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Titans also received vital efforts from quarterback Jake Bowen who caught 4 passes for 78 yards and Jaydon Jones who rushed 8 times for 18 yards and 1 touchdown.

Camas’ quarterback Jake Blair threw for 90 yards, running back Gabe Guo picked up 62 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Zach Blair had 29 receiving yards.

The win helps Union improve to 1-0 on the season while Camas falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Union will take on the Mountain View Thunder at home on Friday March 5. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Camas travels to Battle Ground, WA to take on the Battle Ground Tigers on Friday March 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
