Nooksack Valley Guard Devin Coppinger led all scorers with 26 points as the Pioneers beat Bellingham Red Raiders 61-40 in a game at Nooksack Valley High School.

Coppinger’s points came on 7 field goals, 1 three pointer and 9 of 10 free throws during the game.

Adison Mc Kay added 11. Bellingham fell to 0-3 overall while Nooksack Valley improved their record to 4-1.

Bellingham’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday May. 28 versus Sedro Woolley. Nooksack Valley will travel to Kings High Schoool on Friday May. 28 to play King’s.
