Nooksack Valley Guard Devin Coppinger led all scorers with 27 points as the Pioneers beat Mount Baker Mountaineers 65-29 in a game at Mt. Baker High School.

Coppinger’s points came on 9 field goals, 2 three pointers and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Madison Barter added 13. Mount Baker fell to 0-3 overall while Nooksack Valley improved their record to 6-1.

Mount Baker’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jun. 11 versus Oak Harbor. Nooksack Valley will host Burlington Edison on Wednesday Jun. 9
