Medical Lake’s Tyana Newman led the way with 14 points as the Cardinals beat Newport Grizzlies 47-27 in a game at MLHS.

Newman’s points came on 4 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Alika Robinson added 14. Newport fell to 0-4 overall while Medical Lake improved their record to 2-2.

Newport’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jun. 10 versus Freeman. Medical Lake will host Freeman on Wednesday Jun. 2
