Jenkins (Chewelah) Guard Brooke Bennett led all scorers with 15 points as the Cougars beat Tekoa-Oakesdale Nighthawks 41-19 in a game at Chewelah, WA.

Bennett ‘s points came on 6 field goals and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Clare Wilkins added 8. Tekoa Oakesdale fell to 0-1 overall while Jenkins (Chewelah) improved their record to 1-0.

Jenkins (Chewelah) will host Liberty on Wednesday Dec. 15
