Meridian’s Kyrin Baklund led all scorers with 15 points as the Trojans beat Nooksack Valley 55-53 in a game at Meridian High School.”

Baklund’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Nooksack Valley was led by Katrina Gimmaka’s 23 points and Rachel Sande added 12. Nooksack Valley fell to 6-9 overall while Meridian improved their record to 0-0.
