Ferris Saxons edge Lewis & Clark Tigers 67-63 in Washington high school basketball game

Ferris Point Guard Kayla Jones led all scorers with 35 points as the Saxons beat Lewis & Clark Tigers 67-63 in a game at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.

Jones’ points came on 4 field goals, 6 three pointers and 9 of 12 free throws during the game.

Ruby Shaw added 15. Lewis & Clark fell to 7-6 overall while Ferris improved their record to 7-5.

Lewis & Clark’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 16 versus Mt. Spokane. Ferris will travel to University HS on Tuesday Jan. 16 to play University.
