Sumner’s Callie Stevens led the way with 13 points as the Spartans beat Emerald Ridge 46-38 in a game at Emerald Ridge HS.”

Stevens’ points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Emerald Ridge was led by Jill Harris’ 14 points and Taryn Hilts-Hoskins added 8. Emerald Ridge fell to 3-6 overall while Sumner improved their record to 1-0.

Sumner will host Curtis on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:00pm.
