Medical Lake’s Jaycee Oliver led all scorers with 14 points as the Cardinals beat Newport Grizzlies 58-39 in a game at Newport High School.

Oliver’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Alika Robinson added 9. Newport fell to 3-2 overall while Medical Lake improved their record to 4-7.

Newport’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jan. 25 at 4:00pm versus Freeman. Medical Lake will host Freeman on Friday Jan. 17 at 7:15pm.
