West Valley Eagles edges Cheney Blackhawks 57-52 in Washington high school basketball game

West Valley Wing Nevaeh Sherwood led the way with 16 points as the Eagles beat Cheney Blackhawks 57-52 in a game at Cheney.

Sherwood’s points came on 5 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Emma Evans added 22. Cheney fell to 5-8 overall while West Valley improved their record to 12-4.

Cheney’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Feb. 5 at 7:00pm versus Clarkston. West Valley will host Sandpoint on Wednesday Feb. 5 at 5:29pm.
